Our collaborative partnered approach to innovative aged care projects is evident in our delivery of the $50m Baulkham Hills SummitCare RACF facility. We were honoured to attend the grand opening of the facility to celebrate with SummitCare and the various stakeholders who contributed to the successful delivery of this quality development.

The new facility houses 236 beds for residents, a dementia centre, behavioural secure unit and specialised palliative care and includes state of the art GPON fibre optic technology, integrating the nurse call and ICT. Chada Interior Design, known for their high-end hospitality design, leveraged their experience to create a home for residences that resembles a luxury hotel, featuring bespoke custom rugs, joinery and room finishes and fixtures.

RCC’s commitment to safety has been recognised at the 2017 NSW Master Builders Association (MBA) ‘Excellence in Construction’ Awards.

We are proud to have claimed an award in the category of ‘Site Safety- Innovative Safety Solution’ for our new smart phone application, ‘Risk Assessor’. Our work, health and safety team developed the application to further streamline and safeguard our project risk assessment process. Recognition from both the Master Builders Association and SafeWork NSW has reaffirmed the positive feedback received from users during its successful implementation on a range of projects across all sectors.

The ‘Risk Assessor’ app is one tool in RCC’s committed approach to ensuring the safety of all those on our sites and the public, and to making a positive contribution to safety across the construction industry.

“As one of the first contractors to be accredited across all areas of HSQE, we are glad this is now standard practice. RCC value the safety of everyone in our industry, clients and competitors alike.
