Jennifer Tyler
General Counsel
With over 25 years’ industry experience, Jennifer heads up the RCC legal function, bringing a conciliatory, non-adversarial approach to RCC’s legal and governance matters.
Jennifer spent the first 10 years of her career in various law firms, obtaining top tier experience and specialising in the procurement and delivery of complex, major infrastructure and building projects. Jennifer then moved to a client-side role and has spent the last 15 years working in-house for developers, Tier 1 contractors and financial advisors.
Over the past 5 years, Jennifer has built and consolidated RCC’s legal function, driving initiatives that enhance awareness of obligations and opportunities and fostering proactive and constructive dialogue. A dedicated industry mentor, she is passionate about education and gender equity across the industry. Jennifer is currently undertaking post graduate company governance studies.

Jess Dwyer
Head of Corporate Affairs & ESG
With over 12 years of experience at RCC, Jess has a strong background in communications and work-winning. Now in a senior leadership role, she took the helm of the newly established Corporate Affairs team in 2024, where she leverages her expertise to oversee stakeholder engagement, internal communications, and RCC’s ESG strategy.
A results-driven leader, Jess is committed to fostering a more inclusive workforce. She plays a key role in advancing RCC’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, leading the committees to drive meaningful change.

Vanessa Riley
Chief People Officer
A valued member of our leadership team, Vanessa is a results-orientated senior human resources executive with a strong track record in driving organisational transformation. Her strength lies in connecting business strategy to people outcomes, and she is passionate about embedding a culture where employees are given ample opportunities to step up and progress.
Leveraging her extensive HR experience, Vanessa leads culture, leadership development and workforce planning at RCC. Her remit also includes the development and delivery of RCC’s people and culture strategy which helps to enable our operational success.

Samantha Kuiper
General Manager – Design and Innovation
Sam has spent more than 30 years delivering complex projects for Tier 1 contractors globally, and now leads a team of more than 50 design managers at RCC. With a background in architecture and extensive industry experience, she is committed to the delivery of design management excellence.
Spearheading initiatives to harness the power of digital software, Sam is continually streamlining processes and building her team’s capabilities. At RCC, she is executive sponsor of our cadet program. Sam is proactively building a better industry as a respected mentor, a member of both the GBCA, Property Council of Australia Committees and UTS Advisory Committee, and a founding member of the Australian Framework for Design Services.

Richard Crookes
Executive Chairman
Richard established the RCC business in 1966, starting out by delivering projects for his mates. Over the years, Richard’s strong values and long-term relationships built on collaboration, quality and trust became the foundations of RCC’s success.
Richard remains personally involved in the company’s day-to-day operations with a hands-on approach, the hallmark of his management style. His principles on which the business was established – to work hard with integrity, to listen and be responsive – remain at the heart of RCC today.

Richard Brown
General Manager – ACT
Honing his skills for more than four decades, Richard’s professional career began as an electrical engineering, then moving into operations and senior executive roles for Tier 1 contractors and developers in the United Kingdom and Australia. A results-oriented leader, he has the technical acumen, network and experience to deliver quality outcomes and program certainty.
Richard’s strong track record is reflected in the successful growth of the RCC ACT business, where he has secured projects in defence, healthcare and education – and now leads a team of 40.

Luke Gerathy
General Manager – Hunter New England
For over a decade, Luke has spearheaded the growth of the Hunter New England business unit, seamlessly integrating strategy and delivery to reflect his unwavering dedication to the region. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Board, Luke aligns resource allocation and excels in team leadership, driving business growth.
With his robust network and close community ties, Luke has successfully delivered projects across a range of sectors including health, education, food production, agribusiness and hospitality. Supported by a team of over 120, Luke has created a lasting legacy across regional and rural NSW.

Kate Hannaford
General Manager – New Business & Marketing
Kate is a strategic leader with over 30 years of experience in business strategy, communications, branding, and business development—more than 20 of those in construction. She has built a powerful industry network, driving market engagement and intelligence to create value for RCC. With deep expertise in procurement and positioning to win, she develops market-leading strategies that sharpen RCC’s competitive edge. Most recently, she led RCC’s brand refresh, ensuring it reflects the company’s evolution and strengthens its market presence.

Jamie Crookes
Managing Director
Jamie’s growth from carpenter to Managing Director is testament to his 36-year journey of hard work and dedication. Steering RCC’s strategic direction, and supported by a multi-disciplined leadership team and robust network of industry partners, Jamie has cemented RCC’s reputation as a trusted delivery partner and employer of choice.
Taking a long term view, Jamie makes decisions that are in the best interests of our clients and business ecosystem. A strong believer in transparency, collaboration and a ‘best-for-project’ approach, he aligns business decisions with corporate values to bring RCC’s purpose to life.

Ian West
General Manager – Commercial and Risk
Drawing on four decades of construction industry experience, Ian has managed RCC’s Commercial and Risk function since 2017. Working collaboratively with teams across all business divisions, Ian identifies risks and opportunities to deliver value for RCC’s clients and business.
Through his skilled leadership and commercial acumen of contracts administration, Ian is committed to transparent and disciplined processes so as to ensure we are a trusted partner. Investing in the long-term and the professional development of the industry, he is an active participant in the Australian Institute of Building as both mentor and member.

Grant D’Arcy
General Manager – Sydney and Major Projects
Over the span of his 25+ year career, Grant has led the delivery of large-scale and complex projects for both Tier 1 contractors and developers. At RCC, he has driven ambitious growth initiatives for the Sydney and Majors division – which has expanded to 600+ people over the last six years.
Exceptional industry acumen underscores Grant’s commitment to strengthening RCC’s capabilities across all sectors. Driving operational excellence across the business, he spearheads the continual consolidation of our capabilities and service offerings to deliver certainty for our clients.

David Sharp
Chief Financial Officer
David has over 20 years’ experience in senior finance roles within the construction and property industry, working with leading Tier 1 contractors and developers. Since 2012, he has led strategic financial management at RCC, helping the business grow to $1.6 billion in annual turnover. During this time, he has successfully guided RCC through the industry’s recent challenges and market fluctuations.
David also oversees IT, ensuring the security and success of the business, its people, and its clients. As an advocate for employee wellbeing, he founded the ‘RCC Flyers’ run club to encourage a healthy and supportive work culture.

Craig Richmond
Business Systems Manager
Throughout the course of his 45+ year career, Craig has been committed to quality and construction excellence. A certified carpenter, this provided the foundation of his expertise in construction, site operations and coordination.
With over 16 years’ experience at RCC, he has embedded quality and transparent system management across key facets of the business. Craig is responsible for implementing and embedding RCC’s industry-leading Quality Assurance and Environmental systems. Together with the Managing Director, he ensures the compliance and high standards or our systems, supporting quality outcomes for the business.

Claude Concha
General Manager – Industrial
A leading specialist in the delivery of industrial projects, Claude has over 30 years’ experience and began his career as a civil engineer. He has overseen RCC’s industrial division for more than a decade, in which time the team has grown to more than 100.
Considered and strategic in his approach, Claude oversees the entire business cycle; from tendering to handover and the implementation of best-practice initiatives. This attention to detail, together with Claude’s deep sector expertise, continues to drive significant repeat business for RCC.

Chris Meade
General Manager – Queensland
Having spent more than thirty years in the construction industry, Chris began his career onsite as an apprentice carpenter. From there, he progressed into senior leadership roles, and in 2019, he launched RCC’s Queensland division which he continues to lead.
Deeply embedded in the Queensland market, and with an extensive network, Chris has grown the RCC business in this region exponentially, and now heads up a team of over 40 members.
