St Catherine’s School Sydney

St Catherine’s School, Stage 1, involves the demolition of existing structures within the proposed building footprint including an existing outdoor pool, adjoining temporary learning facilities and a small section of the junior school playground.
Construction of a new multi-storey building containing a basement level car park, an aquatic centre, performing arts auditorium, multipurpose hall and all associated spaces will then be completed. RCC successfully delivered 265 beds during Phase 1 of the Iglu Redfern Student Accommodation development in 2018. Phase 2 delivered a new tower to accommodate 265 students in a range of studio and shared apartments located over 16 floors.

The ground floor level will include retail and commercial space to provide an active frontage to Regent Street and Marian Street. Resident communal facilities will be located on Level 1 and link to the existing communal facilities in Iglu Redfern.
