Fresh Hope Aged Care, East Maitland

Our team of delivery experts led the design and construction of a 158-bed residential care facility and Respite Centre accommodating 20 day visitors and 8 overnight beds.

The facility offers a variety of services including a Wellness Centre and Community Centre, featuring a Community Kitchen, Club, and commercial cafe. Scope of works also included a recreational area with kiosk shed and seating area, bathroom blocks, arboretum and pergola.

Kokoda Residences

The Kokoda Residences involves the development of a multi-storey tower consisting of 117 Independent Living Units (ILUs) in the Sydney suburb of Waitara. The project delivers 12 levels of habitable community spaces featuring multi-purpose recreation and meeting rooms, storage areas, consulting rooms, allied health, 2-storey basement carpark and mixed retail and commercial services for residents.

Pacific Cape RACF

A Joint Venture between Reecon and RCC, consisting of the construction of a new 5 storey, 88-room residential aged care facility at Pacific Cape Village with parking and services on the lower two levels. Works require minimal disruption to the existing Pacific Cape Village community and neighbouring residences.

RCC is working in close partnership with local builder Reecon, that has delivered previous stages of the Village, to leverage first-hand site knowledge, local resources and subcontractor value.

The Henry Retirement Village, Stage 1 & 2

Design and construction of a new boutique retirement village in Canberra on the old Higgins primary school site. RCC initially delivered 21 ILU’s as Stage 1 of the project before being awarded the contract for the stage 2 works which include the construction of 25 townhouses and the clubhouse.

The Henry was recently awarded the Master Builders Association ACT Excellence Award for Special Purpose and Adaptable Dwelling and has progressed to the National Awards, set to take place in April 2022.

Uniting Amala RACF, Gordon

Delivered by RCC across 3 stages for Uniting at their existing and operational Amala Development. Consisting of 122 beds across three residential aged care facilities (RACF) and a Community Centre, the Uniting Amala RACF project provides the community with excellent clinical care, essential support, and lifestyle options.

The community centre consists of ILU Village Club, Café, Hairdressers, Treatment Rooms, Gym, Café, Chapel, multipurpose rooms, and administration offices. The central courtyard provides residents with a chess board, BBQ facilities, water feature, shade & activity structures, as well as a dementia walking path.

Bulli Hospital Aged Care Centre of Excellence

The works involved the design and construction of a 2 level, 60-suite Residential Aged Care Facility which is linked to a 60-bed inpatient hospital via an enclosed walkway. This unique facility is a joint public and private venture between Illawarra Retirement Trust (IRT) and the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD), each located in separate wings of the building:

  • The IRT component is situated on the West Wing and consists of a Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) incorporating residential care bedrooms as well as associated staff facilities.
  • The ISLHD operated component is located on the East Wing and consists of outpatient services, Ambulatory Care Services, and on-site Clinical Support Services.
