Delivered by RCC across 3 stages for Uniting at their existing and operational Amala Development. Consisting of 122 beds across three residential aged care facilities (RACF) and a Community Centre, the Uniting Amala RACF project provides the community with excellent clinical care, essential support, and lifestyle options.

The community centre consists of ILU Village Club, Café, Hairdressers, Treatment Rooms, Gym, Café, Chapel, multipurpose rooms, and administration offices. The central courtyard provides residents with a chess board, BBQ facilities, water feature, shade & activity structures, as well as a dementia walking path.

Key features of the project include:

  • Stage 1: Carehouse 2, consisting 42-bed RACF
  • Stage 2: Carehouse 1, consisting 40-bed RACF and community centre
  • Stage 3: Carehouse 3, consisting 40-bed dementia specific RACF
  • Residential based waffle pod slab system
  • Aus-Truss Light weight steel framing
