M by Montefiore

Corymbia Residential Aged Care

Located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Japara’s Corymbia development consisted of the demolition of an existing dwelling and the design and construction of a 5-storey, 100-bed high quality aged care facility with one level of basement car parking, high level services, rooftop plant and hard and soft landscaping. The facility will offer a variety of services including an in-house café and bar, expansive terraces, a cinema, a beauty, hair and nail salon and a gymnasium. The individual rooms are influenced by the native flora and fauna of the surrounding neighbourhood.

Catholic Healthcare Norwest

The facility will provide a variety of communal spaces including; a library, café, chapel, multifunction centre, gym, hairdresser and consultation rooms, as well as; courtyards, sitting rooms, dining rooms and lounge rooms.

Uniting Gerringong

Uniting Gerringong is a new 100 bed RACF and community centre on NSW’s south coast at Uniting Mayflower Village in Gerringong.

It is stage 1 in the overall redevelopment of the village, which renew both the care facilities and the independent living units in the following stages.

The 100 beds is a mixture of 75 single rooms, 10 double rooms and 5 accessible rooms over 5 households from ground to L2.

Each household has 20 beds and shares clinical BOH, community kitchen, dining lounge and sitting rooms along with outside access via balconies or courtyard.

The ground floor household is dedicated memory support with a dedicated stimulus courtyard. The community centre combines a new admin for the village with gym, activity rooms, chapel, hairdresser, treatment rooms and café. Ground floor also contains a single and family suite for the use of visiting family and friends. Basement contains staff facilities and communal BOH facilities for food deliveries, storage, maintenance, waste, clean and dirty linen.

Southern Cross Care Turramurra

The SCC Turramurra project includes the construction of a new Residential Aged Care Facility, and the demolition and removal of the old facilities. At the same time, the RCC team shall be refurbishing Huon Park House, a heritage-listed late-1800’s farmstead house on site as well as minor refurbishment of the existing on site Chapel.

On the grounds of the existing facility are protected blue-gum and iron-bark high-forest areas, all requiring protective exclusion zones throughout the project duration.

The precinct also houses a community care administration service and the project involves the heritage restoration of Barroul House, containing a cafe / restaurant and community facilities.

Opal Blacktown

Design, construction and commissioning of 149 beds (137 rooms) over 5 stories, with associated demolition works, tree removal, car parking, landscaping and signage. The project will provide significant resources for aged care within the Blacktown area.

The design for the RACF had been based on the following fundamental facility requirements:

  • Ability to cater for high care residents, (with one dedicated dementia wing of up to 17 beds located on the Ground Floor)
  • Whole of life facility to be future-proofed to cater for the emerging high care market
  • Inclusion of domestic and non-institutional character, which is not standard for for high care residents, which reflects the current aged care trend of aging in place.

Terrey Hills Seniors Living Development

The Royce

Design and construction of an aged care facility over two stages; Stage 1 which was completed in August 2019 consists of 55 ILU’s and 128 RACF with underground basement and extensive external civil stormwater and roadworks. Residents moved into the new building whilst works were ongoing on Stage 2 which consists of 81 ILUS.

The 24-hour health care facility features five-star community spaces, movie theatre, dementia care wing, library and a salon. The Royce is designed to allow for ‘Ageing with Choice’, a philosophy that will allow residents to stay in their own home longer, whilst having the opportunity to foster relationships in shared living environments and state-of-the-art facilities.
