Meet Sara Tait

Let us introduce you to an inspiring young woman who we are proud to be supporting on her rise to the top.
Sara Tait, now at the young age of 19, has represented Australia in Wheelchair Racing and Wheelchair Basketball and is currently a National and World Champion Para-triathlete and part-time University Student. Sara was born with Spina Bifida and requires a wheelchair as her primary mode of transport but says she has never seen her disability as a reason not to aim to fulfil her dreams.

After hearing Sara’s incredible attitude and perseverance we had to be part of her amazing journey. RCC is proud to be sponsoring Sara and excited to share her journey with you!

“Living with a disability has served to strengthen my resolve to make a difference in this world. I hope to demonstrate that with passion, attitude, and a solid work ethic, anyone of any ability (or perceived lack of) can rise to the top.

My vision and commitment is to compete at the highest level in the sport of Para Triathlon. The 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games are firmly set in my sights. The journey will be challenging, however with your support I strongly believe that I can achieve my goals”
