Reimagining the traditional Industrial office design
Works are well underway at Charter Hall’s Light Horse Logistics Hub. Advanced programming enabling our team to erect its structure within four months, with earthworks, carparking and associated warehouse cladding now complete.
Construction of the timber office will commence shortly, driving sustainability outcomes through the installation of locally sourced CLT and GLT timber that will reduce carbon emissions by 80%.
With its biophilic attributes, timber can be a long-lasting, renewable and carbon neutral resource – reducing construction wastage while absorbing carbon from the atmosphere.
Locally sourced CLT and GLT timber (Victorian Ash, radiata pine and Tasmanian Oak) are expected to reduce the operational efficiency of the building by over 60% and potable water consumption by almost 75%.
Once complete, Light Horse Logistics Hub will incorporate the latest technology and sustainability features including PV solar systems, EV charging stations, smart building metering and drought tolerant landscaping.
