Design and construction of a new 644 bed regional correctional centre. The centre provides inmate accommodation for men and women of minimum, medium and maximum classification. The centre includes 34 separate buildings which include areas for inmate education, employment and recreation, a gatehouse, administration areas, staff and visitors facilities, kitchen and stores building, laundry, clinic, transport response unit and inmate reception. External works include internal access roads, parking areas, footpaths, paved areas, landscaping, site services, various drainage and other civil works. The works includes precast walls, macem fencing for perimeter of site and internally, gates and other physical security elements as well as an integrated and fully monitored electronic security system.
