St Patrick’s Primary School, Lochinvar

Construction of two new general learning pods (each with three GPLAs), staff resource areas, outdoor activity and learning areas, and associated amenities. Works also included extensions and refurbishments to amenities, hall, canteen and out-of-school-hours facilities, a new COLA, refurbishment of neighbouring Presbytery Building, and demolition and removal of existing log cabin classrooms and demountable buildings.

St Philip’s Christian College Active Learning Centre

The modern, 4-storey Active Learning Centre incorporates a large indoor multi-sport court space, ninja gym and climbing wall facilities, dance and drama studios, weights and gymnasium facility, musical rehearsal spaces, related amenities and change facilities, end of trip staff facilities, staff and student learning and well-being areas, covered outdoor play areas and cantilevered walkways and viewing areas linking the spaces around the central indoor court area.  

The Active Learning Centre’s purposeful design reflects the College’s ethos; that every student has access to excellent learning resources and is taught in the best learning facilities available.  

The state-of-the-art facilities were delivered safely in a live operational environment – ensuring the continuity of school life with minimal disruption. Skilful stakeholder management in conjunction with rigorous safety standards ensured the project’s success.

Fresh Hope Aged Care, East Maitland

Our team of delivery experts led the design and construction of a 158-bed residential care facility and Respite Centre accommodating 20 day visitors and 8 overnight beds.

The facility offers a variety of services including a Wellness Centre and Community Centre, featuring a Community Kitchen, Club, and commercial cafe. Scope of works also included a recreational area with kiosk shed and seating area, bathroom blocks, arboretum and pergola.

QT Hotel, Newcastle

CCCSRI Fit Out

The Central Coast Clinical School and Research Institute (CCCSRI) occupies Building A of Gosford Hospital Health and Wellbeing Precinct, which was built and completed by RCC in June 2020. This state-of-the-art facility is a partnership facility between the University of Newcastle and the Central Coast Local Health District, providing numerous benefits to the community and surrounding region.

The fit out scope comprises 7,250m² net lettable area, spanning six storeys from level 6 to level 11, including installation of supplementary services. The adjacent Gosford Hospital campus remained in full and continuous operation throughout the course of works.

Pacific Cape RACF

A Joint Venture between Reecon and RCC, consisting of the construction of a new 5 storey, 88-room residential aged care facility at Pacific Cape Village with parking and services on the lower two levels. Works require minimal disruption to the existing Pacific Cape Village community and neighbouring residences.

RCC is working in close partnership with local builder Reecon, that has delivered previous stages of the Village, to leverage first-hand site knowledge, local resources and subcontractor value.

Gosford Hospital Health & Wellbeing Precinct

Delivered across three separate stages, these works comprised D&C delivery of a multi-level carpark, base build of a six-storey tower on top, and fit-out of the UoN Central Coast Clinical School and Research Institute (CCCSRI). RCC worked closely with Health Infrastructure NSW and the Central Coast Local Health District, also the University of Newcastle as our client for the fit-out portion of works.

  • Car Park: 803 spaces and drop off zone, situated on 11,748m² site with a 23% gradient
  • Tower A Base Build: A concrete structure, glazed curtain wall façade system, void within floor plate to accommodate future three-level staircase, and podium terrace extension.
  • CCCSRI Fit Out: Comprising 7,250m² net lettable area across six storeys from level 6 to level 11, including design coordination with Health Infrastructure and University of Newcastle, and installation of supplementary services.
