Construction of a new Emergency Department with temporary carpark, demolition of old Emergency Department access ramp and construction of new hospital buildings including staff accommodation, ambulance station and helipad. The works were undertaken in stages (milestones) to ensure ongoing hospital operations were not compromised by the construction works.
