Tamworth Ambulance Station is the largest facility constructed in the RAIR 2 Ambulance Station rollout, servicing the greater region including areas as far as Tenterfield, Gunnedah and Glenn Innes. The facility accommodates 12 emergency vehicles and 50 ambulance personnel, and operates intensive care, bariatric and ambulance rescue units.
