Once in a generation redevelopment in Sydney’s CBD
In collaboration with First Sponsor and ICD Property, we’re reimagining the former City Tattersalls Club into Sydney House – a 135-key hotel and 241 residences.
The site – 196-204 Pitt Street – is one of Sydney CBD’s busiest intersections. Complex site constraints led to construction innovation, “We’ve had to think about things differently in terms of modularisation, productisation and how we get the best out of our materials handling strategy,” shared Elliot Hicks, Construction Manager.
This iconic project underscores the importance of adaptive reuse and heritage conservation. “This will be a significant space for Sydney once we reveal the preserved architecture,” reflected Jonathan Redman, heritage architect at fjcstudio.
