Residents are moving into their new homes at Keyton’s Kingfisher Grove’s first apartment building and Clubhouse.

A modern, independent retirement living community, at this stage Keyton offers 87 one, two and three-bedroom villas and apartments. Located seven kilometers from Penrith’s CBD, its premium amenities include a Clubhouse, indoor heated pool, 42-seat cinema, library, bar and dining room.

Topping Out at Oxford Street Paddington

Revitalising a historic location in Sydney’s East

“We truly believe this project will transform Oxford Street and be a catalyst in restoring Paddington to one of Australia’s leading leisure and lifestyle precincts,” said Nathan Chivas, Managing Director at Central Element.

The adaptive reuse of the historic location into Australia’s first 25hours 109-key hotel and entertainment venue will significantly contribute to the uplift of Sydney’s East. The original building was the site of Marshall’s Paddington Brewery before being replaced by West’s Olympia Pictures in 1911.

Guests at Oxford Street Paddington will enjoy premium amenities including a rooftop bar, restaurants, live music facilities and ground floor retail. Developed for Ennismore in collaboration with TZG, Central Element, Boston Global Group, 24 hours hotel, BGE Engineering, Woods Bagot, Indykia and Accor.

Kemps Creek Automated Distribution Centre Complete

Delivering the second ADC in Coles’ network

Celebrating the completion of Coles’ 187,000sqm Kemps Creek Automated Distribution Centre (ADC) with repeat client Goodman. Previous projects include an ADC at Goodman’s Redbank Motorway Estate which opened in QLD last year and has since processed more than 140 million cartons.

Located 40 kilometres west of Sydney CBD, the ADC has been designed to provide better availability for customers and create safer, more efficient outcomes for team members and suppliers. The site spans 187,000sqm – with a building size of 66,000sqm, making it  one of the biggest and most productive automated distribution centres in the world.

Once operating at full capacity, the Kemps Creek facility will service 229 New South Wales and ACT stores, with the site able to process more than four million cartons per week, the equivalent of 32 million products sold in stores. Over the course of a year, this is around 1.6 billion sales units.

Chief Executive Officer Leah Weckert said she was proud of all the hard work the team had put into the opening of Coles’ second ADC. “Today marks a key milestone on our roadmap…with a world-class facility that will deliver improved availability for our NSW customers.”

“We have seen great improvements in availability for our customers in Queensland and Northern New South Wales following the opening of Redbank ADC in Queensland last year – and I’m excited to see this second ADC bring these same benefits to NSW.”

Coles Group Chairman James Graham AM said he was extremely pleased to see this major investment in Coles’ supply chain come to fruition. “Over 4,400 people contributed more than 1.8 million working hours to building the site, installing the automation and getting the system ready for operation – it is an achievement that everyone should be very proud of.”

The Kemps Creek ADC is fitted with 3.5-megawatt rooftop solar, which is among the largest rooftop solar solution in the Coles network. To minimise food waste, edible food that can’t be processed to our stores will be donated to Coles’ community partners Foodbank and SecondBite.

The Kemps Creek ADC is proudly named Naady’u Gulamadda, meaning the place of the Gula (Koala).

Milestone achieved at City Tattersalls Club Redevelopment

Main structural works commence

Another major milestone achieved at the City Tattersalls Club Redevelopment – a significant mixed-use development in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

Tower Crane 1 has been dismantled, marking the completion of earthworks and demolition phases after 1.5 years.

Tower Crane 2’s installation enables work to begin on the 51-storey tower comprising 241 residential apartments and a 110-key hotel.

Congratulations to everyone involved.
