RCC’s Tanya McErlean selected for PCA’s 500 Women in Property

We’re proud to announce that one of our Senior Project Managers, Tanya McErlean has been selected to participate in the Property Council of Australia’s 500 Women in Property program.

Tanya McErlean500 Women in Property is an initiative of the Property Council’s diversity committees which involves members of the Property Council making a commitment to champion women in their organisation and provide them with further networking and professional development opportunities. The target is to sponsor 500 Women in Property each year. The success of this program relies on the personal commitment of the sponsors to build diversity and gender equity across our industry. This includes working together to provide equal opportunity for women, particularly in senior leadership roles to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.

Tanya started at RCC in 1994 as a graduate cadet, moving through contracts administration ranks to her current role as one of RCC’s most respected Senior Project Managers.

Preschool Makeover in Gordon, ACT

The Amala project team in Gordon, ACT has been busy over the last few months making some upgrades to the playground at the local Gordon Primary School. The site team have been presented with a certificate of appreciation from staff and some very happy students for their time, effort and donation of supplies to give the school yard a makeover.

RCC is proud of the effort the team have put in to make a difference and give back to the local community we are building in. Particular thanks go to Site Manager, Tim and Contracts Administrator, Matt as well as some generous subcontractors who ensured the works happened. The team thank the school and parents for allowing them to be involved and create something really special for students.

LASA Congress

LASA Congress 2017

RCC is proud to have been the principal sponsor of this year’s LASA Congress; the largest age services networking event in the southern hemisphere.

Thank you to all those who attended and contributed to such an informative and enjoyable event. Held in the Gold Coast from Sunday the 15th to Wednesday the 18th of October at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, the congress was host to a number of high-level industry executives, policy makers, academics and thought-leaders across the broader age services industry.

The theme for this year was ‘Ahead of the Game: Age Services – Strong, Bold, Brave’; We along with our industry peers are committed to an innovative and intelligent approach to addressing Australia’s current and future aged care and retirement demand.

Sara Tait GC Marathon 2017

Meet Sara Tait

Let us introduce you to an inspiring young woman who we are proud to be supporting on her rise to the top.
Sara Tait, now at the young age of 19, has represented Australia in Wheelchair Racing and Wheelchair Basketball and is currently a National and World Champion Para-triathlete and part-time University Student. Sara was born with Spina Bifida and requires a wheelchair as her primary mode of transport but says she has never seen her disability as a reason not to aim to fulfil her dreams.
