Five-Star Green Star design powers next generation supply chain
Designed to support sustainability and growth, this cutting-edge automated distribution centre dispatches more than 10,000 products from over 800 suppliers to 266 stores. Located in Moorebank Logistics Park, this 34,600sqm facility connects to key port and freight rail networks, reducing truck movements on roads by more than 26,000 each year.
Its Five-Star Green Star design and As-Built Rating was achieved through a robust sustainability framework incorporating solar energy, LED warehouse lighting and rainwater harvesting.
Built to adapt to evolving technologies, this 39m tall high-bay operates an Automated Storage Retrieval System. This system enables tailored pallets to be built based on the aisles of individual stores, supporting safer working conditions for staff by reducing manual handling requirements.
