Marking an important milestone for health outcomes in the Riverina community.
Delivered as part of NSW Health’s MPS Program – Stage 5 which aims to provide integrated services to rural and remote communities. The expansion included a new acute inpatient wing, residential aged care wing, expanded Emergency Department and Community Health area and three staff accommodation units. Restoration works revitalised the existing residential aged care building.
All stages were delivered in an operational environment. Advanced sequencing ensured adjacent facilities remained operational throughout.
Unique landscaping and native flora were completed in collaboration with the local Aboriginal community.
