Award-winning facility addresses shortfall in inmate bed capacity
The first facility delivered under the Prison Bed Capacity Program, completed on budget ahead of an accelerated programme.
Innovative modular cell model accommodation blocks, across 330-beds with fully automated water management systems throughout. Other modern amenities include a textiles hub, laundry and steel fabrication facility increasing access to rehabilitative and educational programs.
Maintaining security in a live environment with 100% disruption free operation was achieved during the concurrent refurbishment and expansion of the existing facility. Advanced interface planning and sequencing ensured the seamless integration of new security and surveillance systems.
