Y Suites on Moore, located in the heart of Canberra’s CBD and owned by Wee Hur Capital, provides exceptional student accommodation in this prestigious university precinct. The 16-storey purpose-built facility provides accommodation for up to 733 students, including communal spaces, BBQ areas, 24/7 gym and movie theatre, as well as bike storage and study spaces.
Stakeholder engagement ensured the successful delivery of the complex facade design, which incorporated varying materials such as rekli-patterned precast panels, installed in a striking pattern across the façade. Stakeholder engagement was also critical to coordinate amenity and access throughout delivery.
The accelerated program was achieved despite commencing during the COVID disruptions and within Canberra’s busy CBD.
