The Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Precinct Development project (MMEPD) aims to improve the access and facilities of Willis Annexe and the Mechanical Engineering Building on University Mall. These buildings encompass the consistent architectural language of 1960s campus buildings and although they have been subject to a number of adhoc alterations and additions over the last 50 years, this is the first time they have been the subject of a major capital renewal project.

RCC delivered the MEEPD project in a tight project site. Scope inclusions were the refurbishment of two existing engineering buildings as well as the demolition and new build of a new wing to provide the teaching spaces for the Mechanical Engineering Faculty.

RCC implemented strict noise/dust/vibration management procedures to limit impact of construction activities on Campus activities.
