The Gordon Apartments

‘The Gordon’ mixed development project is comprised of 19 apartments across three (3) storeys, broken up as 4 one bedroom apartments, 13 two bedroom apartments and 2 three bedroom apartments. The development includes a retail and market store on ground level and 2 levels of basement car parking, comprising of 80 car spaces, 7 motorbike spaces and twenty-nine 29 bicycle spaces.
The works include the full installation and reticulation of new infrastructure, new services plant, systems and drainage.
The project involves complex issues associated with approvals and impacts on the neighbouring community.

Spire Apartments at Marketown

Discovery Point Stage 2 – Greenbank and Verge Apartments

The Greenbank and Verge Apartments at Discovery Point in Sydney’s Arncliffe was the construction of two 11 storey buildings comprising a total of 223 apartments. Greenbank consists of 135 residential apartments within an 11 storey building over three levels of basement car parking. Verge was also 11 storeys, including 3 levels of basement car parking, and consists of 88 apartments with commercial and retail areas at the podium levels. Verge adjoins Greenbank and includes two swimming pools and a gymnasium.

Architectural features of the development include feature FC walls, sun louvres and shades, tiled balconies and curved buildings. Greenbank was integrated with a heritage building at the base of Mt. Olympus and required the use of old flag stones.

Our company is now building another 88 apartments at the Discovery Point site. This stage is referred to as Linc Apartments.

Park Rise Apartments

Construction of 3 9 storey residential towers with 295 apartments in total. The works included excavation for 3 storeys of basement car parking as well has landscaping. The project went through an extensive redesign process prior to construction on site. The carpark walls and shoring system were completely redesigned and RCC implemented the use of bathroom pods for ease of construction and guaranteed programme delivery. The Park Rise Apartments will see the installation of 516 bathroom pods.

Aqua Apartments

Design and construct of a 20 storey residential development comprising of 129 apartments, retail shops at ground level, car parking over 2 basements, ground and level 1. The car park is serviced by 2 car lifts, no ramps. The unique curved design features curved GRC panels, windows and balustrades.

The works included the demolition of the existing building and excavation for the two levels of basement car parking. As the site is located over the inner city train line, extensive monitoring of the impact of works on the train tunnel was mandatory – to achieve compliance with Sydney Trains requirements.  The site is also situated in a busy retail precinct with high pedestrian traffic. Traffic and safety management is a high priority onsite.

10 Wylde Street

This residential project is the design and construction of a new seven storey building with two levels of basement carparking.  This building will replace the former Oakford Apartments motel.

The development, high above industrial Garden Island, is set to contain 22 apartments and 30 car parking spaces.

The project, designed by SJB Architects, has a mixture of six one-bedroom apartments, three two-bedroom apartments and 11 three-bedroom apartments and the two penthouse apartments.

10 Wylde Street Potts Point will be the first apartment building of a major size built in the inner eastern suburb for more than five years
