Centrelink Tamworth

Construction Only delivery of new office facilities for 65 staff from the Australian Department of Health Services, incorporating Centrelink and Medicare offices. RCC redesigned the foundation in response to unknown latent conditions in the sewer, providing the client with significant cost savings and achieving practical completion 2 weeks earlier than planned.

32 Smith Street, Parramatta

Design and construction of a 28 storey PCA A-Grade commercial tower in Parramatta with ground floor retail, end of trip facilities, public domain and laneway works. GPT Group’s vision is to create Parramatta’s smartest building that provides a compelling urban response to the surrounding context and is emblematic of Parramatta’s Smart City Vision. The building was designed to reduce energy and water consumption and was designed to feature a ground level ‘urban room’ event space, an elevated podium terrace with river views and a tree covered sky deck as well as floor to ceiling windows to optimise natural light.

32 Smith Street features:

  • 6D BIM, building data visualisation and integration with the Comfy App utilised on the project
  • Car parking for 113 vehicles as well as end of trip facilities for 132 bicycles
  • Public domain improvement including two new laneway links known as James Lane to the east and William Lane to the south, and enhancements to Phillip and Smith Streets

Innovation Quarter Westmead – Stage 1

Innovation Quarter is a new development by Charter Hall, in close collaboration with Western Sydney University, that provides a multidisciplinary research space to allow collaboration between business, health and research.

Stage 1 consists of an 7-storey building plus 2 basement levels of car parking with 12,000m² of mixed-use research, education, Grade-A commercial, health and retail space targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating, and silver WELL shell and core rating. Works include the Integrated fitout including finishes and services.

6 Hassall Street Parramatta: Innovation Hub

The 6 Hassall Street project is a collaboration between Charter Hall and Western Sydney University to deliver a world class education and innovation hub. 6 Hassall Street boasts a stunning ‘triple-height’ entry precinct with an activated ground floor public plaza complemented by food, beverage and retail providers. The project delivers a 19-storey building comprising of an integrated WSU fitout, basement level with car parking and end-of-trip facilities; ground level including retail tenancies, tenant lobby floor space, a commercial office lobby; above ground levels comprising A Grade commercial floor space; mid-rise and rooftop terraces; landscaping and public domain works.

Watt St Commercial

Watt Street Commercial consisted of the refurbishment to the existing David Maddison research facility into 6 levels of open plan, Green Star and 4.5 Star Nabers Rated, A Grade Commercial office space. The project also includes a 200 seat lecture theatre, secure on-site parking, landscaped courtyard and entry foyer cafe featuring a living green wall. (Gross Floor Area of approx 8600m2).

Major demolition works were undertaken to clear out all of the existing partitions before work began on creating this prime commercial centre. The building received:

  • Brand new façade cladding, sunshade louvres and glazing all round;
  • Four large terraces were given a major overhaul including tiling and glazed balustrades;
  • The iconic existing curved concrete facades were given new life through pressure cleaning and painting as well as the external concrete columns;
  • Additions of a café space, large atrium, vertical garden, timber feature wall, carefully selected tiles, architecturally designed landscaping and all new footpaths to surrounds.
  • The electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, fire, security and lift services were completely re-designed and installed new, to comply with greenstar regulations.
  • Extension of the southern end of the building from Level 4 to roof.

Airtrunk Data Centre – Huntingwood

Design and construction of phase one included the delivery of a 12,000sqm data centre facility comprising of a two level data centre which was broken into 8 data halls boosting 20mw of capacity cooled by 20 CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) units per hall (100 in total). The tech building spanning 4,800m2 over 3 stories located adjacent to the main data hall will facilitate all the amenities and tenant areas for current and future use including meeting and communications rooms, and 3 lifts.

165 Phillip Street

The 165 Philip Street project involved the alterations and additions to an existing commercial building, including facade restoration works, internal building upgrades, fit-out of new offices, provision for new retail spaces and restaurant spaces.

The works are the refurbishment of the existing building while maintaining an active hotel on Level 6 to Level 9.The existing structure is understood to be constructed from steel and concrete frame .

New entrances were created on both street frontages with steel and glass awnings providing weather protection . The public domain was also upgraded on Phillip Street inclusive of paving works and new lighting. The commercial fitout consists of plasterboard walls with high specification applied finishes to the walls and flooring.

This project involves the construction of a Goodman Corporate office building, inclusive of a 5 levels of commercial office space with 11,200m2 of GFA.
Included in the works was:
• 4 carpark basement levels with 11,340m2 GFA including; 251 Car spaces , 12 Motorbike spaces and 98 Bicycle spaces
• 4 passenger /Good lifts servicing 10 levels
• Ground Floor with 2,900m2 GFA including a Gymnasium, Showroom, Coffee Shop, Loading Dock, Service Rooms & Amenities
• Building height of 30m (RL 82.500)

The building achieved 4.5 Star NABERS rating, 4 star Green Star design rating and is a Property Council of Australia Grade A Office Space
The site boasts close proximity to public transport and major roadways, to allow for an accessible commute for employees.
